As we have seen, not even a pandemic can slow down public sector organizations. At a time when many segments of our economy struggled to remain operational, public sector organizations continued to deliver much-needed services to their constituents. But to keep these service levels up, governments need to start planning for the future – especially when it comes to their workforce. With approximately 40 percent of the public sector workforce at or nearing retirement age, it’s critically important that governments develop strategies to ensure they can attract the next generation of talent.
