Dr. Noel Hacegaba

Chief Operating Officer, Port of Long Beach

Dr. Noel Hacegaba is the Chief Operating Officer of the Port of Long Beach, North America’s second-busiest container port. He is responsible for managing the Port’s day-to-day operations, including commercial operations, finance and administration, engineering services, planning and environmental affairs, human resources, communications and government relations. In recent years, Dr. Hacegaba led the Port’s response to the pandemic-induced supply chain crisis, directing the Port’s Business Recovery Taskforce and coordinating with industry, labor and government partners to identify near-term solutions. Dr. Hacegaba is also leading the development of the Port’s digital initiative known as the Supply Chain Information Highway, which seeks to close the gap on the lack of visibility and data sharing in goods movement by enabling end-to-end visibility and coast-to-coast connectivity. In total, Dr. Hacegaba has more than 26 years of public and private sector experience spanning a variety of industries. Prior to joining the Port, he managed $200 million in contracts for a Fortune 500 company.

Mr. Suresh M Khadakbhavi is the CEO – Digi Yatra Foundation. A Digital Transformation and Innovation Leader, a Visionary, Thinker, Doer & Achiever! Suresh is a pioneer and leader of pan-India initiatives like #DigiYatra biometric passenger processing using W3C Standards and Self Sovereign Identity. He has been partnering with IATA One-ID Contactless Travel working group, contributing to re-defining the global air travel experience, to make it futuristic, safe and contactless, cutting across international borders. Prior to his role as CEO, Suresh spent over 15 years with Bangalore International Airport Limited where he spearheaded the Innovations Lab.

Josh teaches the Amazon Culture of Innovation and leads innovation workshops utilizing the Amazonian Working Backwards mechanism to drive prototypes and scaled solutions for customers to bring new ideas to life. Josh previously led the State & Local Government Professional Services team at AWS and prior to that spent 20 years as Vice President of Professional Services at Informatica.
