As part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program provides $1 billion over four years to state and local governments to make cybersecurity improvements. States must apply for their share of funding, 80% of which must be passed down to the local level.
This requires local agencies to apply for funding, too, which means creating strong and robust cybersecurity plans. Today’s threat landscape calls for powerful countermeasures such as a Zero-Trust approach and additional security that protects and improves the cybersecurity posture of users as they interact with the environment.
Join us on Thursday, Sept. 29th at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET for a webinar with Government Technology and Proofpoint. Our industry experts will unpack what this grant program means for state and local governments, including:
· How IT budgets and future planning may be affected
· The potential impact on funding and what tools are necessary for every agency
· What agencies can do now to efficiently enhance their security posture
