Improving the nation’s infrastructure is among the new administration’s biggest priorities. Accomplishing it will require not only rebuilding roadways, bridges, and railways, but modernizing the IT systems that run our critical transportation systems as well.

Join Government Technology and leaders from Tampa International Airport and Oracle on May 12 at 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET as we explore how transportation organizations of all types can modernize their IT infrastructure to run more reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

We’ll discuss how Tampa International Airport’s move to the cloud enabled it to:

  • Improve disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities- a relief for an airport located in a hurricane-prone location
  • Minimize the on-premises data center footprint and automate patches, database maintenance, and more so it could run its back-office systems more effectively and assign employees to higher-level tasks
  • Improve functionality and gain new features such as command center dashboards and scalability, enhanced user experience and mobility.

Plus, discover what’s being planned to make airports "smarter" through technological improvements.
