He has more than 23 years of IT experience across multiple industries to include engineering, aviation, finance, energy and government He currently manages the enterprise applications technology team at TPA and is also responsible for application architecture, production support, application deployments and change management as well as technical implementations.

Lew Gaskell

Transportation IT Infrastructure Program Leader, Oracle

Lew Gaskell is the Oracle Program Leader within the North American public sector for transportation, with over 20 years of SME experience in consulting, implementation, and business development for the airport and State and Local transportation sectors. As a thought leader in creating Smarter Transportation programs, his area of focus is in education, strategy and enablement and on the how the use of global technology and innovation can address emerging today’s transportation challenges.

William Sanders

Director, Technology Strategy and Business Development, Oracle

William Sanders is the Director of US & Canada Technology Strategy for Oracle Public Sector. His team provides sales strategy and enablement for the U.S. State & Local, Canada and Higher Education and Research markets. William has an extensive background in State government, serving for 4 years as Deputy Chief of Staff to Kansas Governor Bill Graves, and 4 years as the Kansas Labor Agency CIO, Operations Chief, and Employment Security Director. William spent the past 17 years in the private sector helping government agencies modernize service delivery to improve constituent outcomes.

Teri Takai — Moderator

Co-Executive Director, Center for Digital Government

Teri Takai is the Co-Executive Director of the Center for Digital Government, a national research and advisory institute on information technology policies and best practices in state and local government. She worked for Ford Motor Company for 30 years in global application development and information technology strategic planning. From Ford, she moved to EDS in support of General Motors.
