Rick Laneau has over 40 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) within education. For the past seven years he has served as the General Manager of Information Technology for Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS), where he is responsible for providing leadership in cross-functional activities, tackling the transition from mainframe legacy to Cloud based applications. He started with HCPS straight out of the University of South Florida with his degree in Management Information Systems. Beginning as a systems programmer, he has held various positions, and served for 14 years as Data Center Manager responsible for IT operations of the eighth largest school district in the country. The position included acquisition, implementation, and management of enterprise hardware and software within the district’s data center. Before taking his role as GM, he served for two years as Executive Officer of Information and Technology Compliance for HCPS responsible for addressing compliance, regulatory, and contractual requirements. His passion for supporting K-12 education is evident by his participation on several State of Florida Associations Boards and Client Advisory Boards. Including the Florida Association of MIS (FAMIS), the Florida Association of Education Data Systems (FAEDS), Spectrum Enterprise Client Advisory Board and Infor Public Sector Industry Council.

Before joining Infor, Pam amassed over two decades of invaluable experience within Hillsborough County Public School District finance department. Serving as a General Manager of Payment Services, she oversaw the management of payroll and accounts payable for a workforce exceeding 25,000 employees. Her responsibilities extended to navigating a substantial annual revenue budget of $3 billion, demonstrating her proficiency in financial management at a large scale. Pam's transition into her current role as an HCM Solution Consultant showcases her commitment to leveraging her extensive background to streamline processes and optimize human capital strategies within the public sector, particularly in the realm of education. Her in-depth understanding of both finance and HR processes uniquely positions her to offer comprehensive solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by educational institutions. With a proven track record of excellence and a passion for empowering organizations to achieve their goals, Pam Hendriksen continues to be a driving force in revolutionizing human capital management within the public sector.

Dr. Monica Goldson is the retired Chief Executive Officer for Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) after 32 years of service. She began her career as a high school mathematics teacher with plans to become an actuary. Within her first few weeks on the job, she realized that education was her true calling. She steadily moved up the administrative ranks, serving in such roles as principal, associate superintendent, deputy superintendent and chief operating officer, just to name a few, prior to her appointment as CEO. Dr. Goldson holds three degrees from HBCUs – a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Florida A&M University, a master’s degree in Elementary and Secondary School Administration from Bowie State University, and a doctorate in Educational Administration and Policy from Howard University. Beyond the schoolhouse, Dr. Goldson is the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
