Kevin Hafer is the current Assistant Director of Construction for the Waco Independent School District, and has worked in various operational roles within the organization to include Temp Facilities Manager, Coordinator of Maintenance, and Assistant Director of Maintenance. Former Central Texas Chapter of TASBO Officer (Secretary through President). 15 Years of prior construction experience primarily focused on K-12 and Higher Ed sectors before landing at the Waco Independent School District.

Leveraging his experience as Vice President of Industry Solutions at InEight and as a program manager at Google, he works to champion the successful change management required to implement innovative solutions. With a background as a structural engineer at Kiewit, AJ combines technical expertise with a passion for advancing customer flexibility and agility.

Mr. Pereyaslavsky has over 30 years’ experience in Information Technology projects as well as over 20 years of experience in selling and implementation of project management software packages. He works with clients and implementation consultants to develop overall product implementation strategy, define, and configure business processes, integration and data migration plans. He is the leading authority in developing comprehensive reporting and data analysis solutions using a variety of Business Intelligence platforms. He was instrumental in developing Kahua Sources of Funds product. Mr. Pereyaslavsky led technical teams on complex Kahua implementations at multiple clients over the past 8 years, including General Services Administration (GSA), Infrastructure Ontario (IO), Department of State, Air Force, Federal Reserve Board, Delta, HPE and multiple CBRE accounts across a wide range of applications including sources of funds, capital planning, bid management, budget, and cost management, cashflow-forecasting, and document management.

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government

Tom Ryan has recently retired from Santa Fe Public Schools, in New Mexico, as Chief Information and Strategy Officer. He has co-founded, K12 Strategic Technology Advisory Group, to assist district leaders deliver educational success with technology, which is led by experienced school technology leaders. He has expertise in strategic planning and leadership, designing digital learning environments, technology infrastructure reviews. Dr. Ryan has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. He has served as CIO in large and very large public-school districts and has 40+ years of experience and expertise in teaching, leadership, technology integration and blended/online learning program development. He is past chair in CoSN and works with the Council of the Great City Schools (CGCS) performing large school district reviews and helps coordinate annual CIO conferences. Dr. Ryan is a Senior Fellow for the Center of Digital Education and presents at several international and national conferences throughout the year.

Dr. Michael J. Martirano is a Senior Fellow for the Center for Digital Government. He is a seasoned educational leader, serving over 40 years in the public education sector. He has served as a science and math teacher, a principal and assistant principal at the elementary, middle and high school levels, a central office administrator, a local superintendent in two counties in the state of Maryland and as the state superintendent of schools for the great state of West Virginia. He holds a bachelor of science degree and two masters of education degrees from the University of Maryland and a doctorate in School Management and Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, he is a completer of the Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance program at American University in Washington, DC. He the recipient of over thirty awards and honors during his distinguished career including being named the Outstanding Alumni from the College of Education at the University of Maryland, the Most Admired CEO and the Innovator of the Year by the Daily Record in the state of Maryland and the Exceptional School Superintendent Leadership Award given by the National Center for Children and Families.
