Tod Ewasko

Vice President of Development, Civix

Tod Ewasko is a master at developing efficiency and has a history of leading big waves of change. In his role as VP of Development at Civix, Tod developed new gov tech software, practices, and features that helped secure the 2020 elections for Civix’s voter registration and election management clients. He leads a DevOps team that moved systems to the AWS GovCloud, including Civix Security 360 system hardening, security monitoring, WAF, and additional security measures along with NIST best practices. He also leverages programs offered by AWS (like Service Creation) to build key serverless multi-tenant technology from the ground up, leapfrogging older technology. His team builds fully automated integrations that remove manual work and human error, and his innovation extends to client communication during where his team uses technology to track all items requiring investigation and client feedback. This transparency keeps gov tech clients and security officers informed and up to date, which is invaluable during software transitions.
