Ed Weber is the Public Sector Solutions Architect for Tableau Software. He has a passion for digital transformation and data driven decision-making. Ed has more than 30 years of experience in the software industry concentrating on data, application development and analytics. In his current role, he focuses on developing analytics solutions for public sector clients that employ visualization and predictive technologies. Ed has co-authored two books and numerous articles on information technology. He is an experienced presenter having spoken at hundreds of events across the globe. He also holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

 

Anthony Young

Senior Manager, Solution Engineering, Tableau

Anthony Young currently leads the East coast Solution Engineering Team for Tableau's State & Local Government practice. For over 20 years, he has provided leadership to analytics practices with a focus on delivering tangible business value. Anthony has supported clients across many industries including those in the State, Local & Federal/DoD space.

 

Angela Sechler, MPH

Research Analyst Senior, Minnesota Office of Rural Health & Primary Care, Minnesota Department of Health

Angie Sechler is a research analyst in the Office of Rural Health and Primary Care at the Minnesota Department of Health. As a member of the Workforce Planning and Analysis team, she is responsible for performing survey data analysis on licensed health care providers practicing in the state of Minnesota. She received a B.A. in political science from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota.

 

Bob Woolley — Moderator

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government

Bob was the chief technical architect for the state of Utah’s Department of Technology Services, including the development of the state’s Utah.gov portal. Utah has been widely recognized in these areas with numerous national awards. He has also been a technical lead and RFP writer for the WSCA/NASPO Cloud and Data Communication Procurements. He has experience with state, county and higher education employee skill assessments and technology upgrade implementations, including large-scale database migrations from RDMS to NoSQL platforms. He has extensive private-sector experience with Microservices Architecture implementation and DevOps using hybrid cloud deployment patterns.
