Overview

November 9

Watch Now

When bad actors are looking to commit cybercrimes, they follow the path of least resistance. Unfortunately, that path often leads them to local governments. Cities, counties and municipalities have seen a surge in ransomware attacks, but strengthening their cybersecurity systems can be a challenges with limited budgets and IT security resources.

A shared cybersecurity model helps under-resourced localities leverage their collective knowledge, threat intelligence, experience and capabilities to gain a more complete understanding of the threat landscape and better manage cybersecurity risks.

Join Government Technology for a webinar on November 9 to learn how a shared cybersecurity model can help raise the barrier of entry for hackers targeting local municipalities. During this webinar, experts will discuss:

  • How state governments can pool IT resources to strengthen cybersecurity for municipal services
  • Creating information-sharing goals and objectives that support multiple agency missions
  • Best practices for sharing resources across jurisdictions
