Domain Specialist, Verizon Business Group

Crystal Chubeck is a Domain Specialist in the Government Operations and Citizen Experience domain of Verizon Business Group. She drives awareness, creates partnerships and engages local government leaders to improve operations and citizen experience to our Federal, State, Local and Education customers. Crystal has over 25 years of telecommunication experience and has been introducing new wireless technology to government and education customers for over 15 years. She has partnered with many cities, campuses and other communities to leverage technology to improve the experience of citizens and students.

 

Stephen Dunne

Senior Emerging Technology Consultant at Verizon Enterprise Solutions

Stephen Dunne has had years of experience in telephony, Voice over IP, professional services, management and call center related projects including supervising, designing, selling, managing, procuring, and recommending systems. His past responsibilities have provided opportunities in management, product and market development, as well as channel, partner and customer relationships. The projects that he has been involved with have required an understanding of the complex integration of applications, working with multiple platforms, and selling with emphasis on return on investment analysis. Specific technologies have included Contact Center solutions including best practices for PBX, Centrex, voice and data networking, statistical reporting, scripting, integration, Linux, Unix and Windows desktop and server computing planning and evaluation. During his employment at Verizon, he has been involved with key Northern California high tech, energy, retail and health care customers concentrating on developing customer interaction and application development strategies. Previously, Mr. Dunne has worked in the areas of hosted Contact Center services, Cisco, Nortel, Nice, Witness, data warehousing, analytics, Aspect, CRM, Nuance and transport products and services offerings in both startup and top corporate companies. He has directly managed in the business office call center, developed extensive working knowledge of public switched networking, ISDN, private networking, call routing, and queuing theories. He has been cited in publications in John Kincaide's definitive book on Unix Computer Telephony, The Complete Guide for original call center solutions and The Leadership Challenge by James Kouzes and Barry Posner for demonstrated leadership abilities. He has been recognized over a dozen times in his career for excellent performance including Verizon President's Club for 2012 and Race to the Finish 2020. His education includes a Masters in Business Administration, Santa Clara University; Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration, University of California at Santa Barbara.

 

Mimy Indra

Solutions Executive Government Operations & Community Engagement, Verizon

Mimy has worked with various innovative technologies, ranging from multi-modal biometric for digital identity, big data and artificial intelligence, as well as Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (drones). At Verizon, she is helping public sector customers transform and innovate their operations and constituent engagements. Mimy holds a degree in Computer Science, is an avid public speaker and has been a Speaker at Verizon Customer Advisory Board and technology conferences.

 

Bob Woolley — Moderator

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government

Bob was the chief technical architect for the state of Utah’s Department of Technology Services, including the development of the state’s Utah.gov portal. Utah has been widely recognized in these areas with numerous national awards. He has also been a technical lead and RFP writer for the WSCA/NASPO Cloud and Data Communication Procurements. He has experience with state, county and higher education employee skill assessments and technology upgrade implementations. He has extensive experience with development and implementation of enterprise infrastructure and technology services. He focuses on e-government and technical architecture, with special emphasis on technical architecture implementation, planning and analysis; Web design; cloud implementation; and development of online government services. He is a specialist in Theory of Operations documentation processes and implementation of Microservice Architecture and DevOps in hybrid cloud environments. He has worked in the public sector as a university professor and systems analyst, and in the corporate world as a company president and enterprise architect. He has a master’s degree from Utah State University. He was named as one of Government Technology Magazine’s Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers, and has specialized in applying new and emerging technology solutions to government.
