Sunil is a Distinguished Engineer with IBM. He is currently CTO and Generative AI leader for Hybrid Cloud Services Americas. Sunil is a regular speaker in the industry on AI, Cloud, DevOps, digital transformation and related concepts. His specializations are in the areas of GenAI infused Application development, Modernization and Management. Sunil brings deep expertise in Complex Systems Architecture, Cloud Application Development & Platform Engineering, Cloud Migration and Application Modernization Strategy and DevSecOps and SRE enablement for Fortune 500 companies. In addition, Sunil is a RedHat Certified OpenShift Architect, OpenGroup Certified Distinguished Architect and an AWS Cloud Practitioner. Prior to his current role, Sunil served as the CTO for a large-scale application modernization program for an airline client, and as a CTO building and leading a multi-cloud practice – both as a part of Hybrid Cloud Services, IBM Consulting.

Sean McSpaden is an executive level information technology professional with over 30 years of experience in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. His background includes the start-up and management of several small businesses and he has served on the Board of Directors or in Executive Director positions for several 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Sean’s public service experience includes progressively responsible positions as an IT analyst, and in statewide coordination, management and leadership positions within the Executive and Legislative branches of Oregon state government. From June 2008 to September 2013, served as the state of Oregon’s Deputy State Chief Information Officer.
