Dr. Josefin Rosén is the Principal Trustworthy AI Specialist with SAS’ Data Ethics Practice. With over 20 years of experience in AI and advanced analytics, she helps shape the company’s responsible innovation strategy and supports both employees and customers in implementing AI that advances human well-being and autonomy. Josefin holds a Ph.D. in Chemometrics from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Uppsala University.

While working to help governments maximize the use of their data through data integration, data management and analytics, Jennifer Robinson’s career in software development is complemented by the opportunity to serve as a local elected leader for the last 25 years. Robinson cowrote the book A Practical Guide to Analytics for Government and is featured in the book Smart Cities, Smart Future. In addition to writing articles and blogs about data-driven governing, she speaks with government leaders about emerging technologies and how to adopt them strategically.

 

Vrushali Sawant

Vrushali Sawant steers the practical implementation of fairness and trustworthy principles into the SAS platform. She regularly writes and speaks about practical strategies for implementing trustworthy AI systems. With a background in analytical consulting, data management and data visualization, Sawant has been helping customers make data-driven decisions for a decade. She holds a master’s degree in data science and a master’s degree in business administration.

 

Kalliopi Spyridaki

Chief Privacy Strategist, EMEA & Asia Pacific, SAS

Kalliopi Spyridaki is a lawyer and public policy leader specialising in international privacy, data, and AI regulation. As part of SAS since 2007, she drives global engagement with regulators and policymakers to shape laws impacting the tech sector. She advises on corporate strategy, product development, and legal compliance, and serves on SAS’s AI Oversight Committee, guiding responsible AI governance. Her career spans government and private sector roles in EU law, and she has held leadership positions in Business at OECD and DIGITALEUROPE. A frequent speaker and published author, Kalliopi is a member of the Athens Bar and holds law degrees from the University of Athens and the University of Tübingen. She is fluent in four languages and based in Brussels.

Dr. Alan R. Shark is an associate professor for the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University and a core faculty member at the Center for Human AI Innovation in Society (CHAIS). Additionally, he previously served as executive director of the Public Technology Institute (PTI) for over twenty years. He is a National Academy of Public Administration Fellow, founder and Co-Chair of the Standing Panel on Technology Leadership, and executive committee member of ASPA’s Section on Science and Technology in Government. He has over 12 book titles bearing his name, including his latest book, Artificial Intelligence – A Primer for State and Local Government, and the textbook Technology and Public Management, second edition. Shark speaks and writes on all matters related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, including technology leadership, policy, governance, and applications.
