Managing and running elections is an extremely complicated process. Elections offices work year-round to ensure voting technology is secure, candidate filings are accurate, and appropriate policies and procedures are adhered to.

One aspect of elections that’s often overlooked is poll worker management. A single election may require hundreds or even thousands of poll workers in a given county – not just on Election Day but for several weeks of early voting, depending on local laws. Recruiting, training and overseeing all those workers is a massive challenge. Many jurisdictions still manage election personnel manually or use antiquated technology, leading to mistakes, delays and cumbersome processes.

The right software automates and streamlines the work of poll worker management. Join Government Technology and EasyVote on April 13 at 11am PT/2pm ET for an in-depth discussion on how modernizing poll worker management improves the entire elections process.

Our panel of national experts and public elections officials will cover a range of topics, including:

  • How to leverage technology to recruit, train and communicate with poll workers
  • How the right management tool provides greater visibility into your election system, including work assignments, work history and staffing resources
  • How to modernize the payment and reimbursement process for workers after an election is completed
  • What skills and capabilities to look for in a management solution to ensure your elections process is secure, effective and efficient
