Ryan Witt

Vice President - Industry Solutions, Proofpoint

Ryan Witt is a recognized Healthcare Cyber Security Executive and a regular speaker at HIMSS, CHIME, AEHIS, etc. Currently, Ryan is Proofpoint's VP, Industry Solutions and responsible for the strategy and solutions for the company's healthcare and public sector business. Ryan is also the Chair of Proofpoint's Healthcare Advisory Board and an appointed member of HIMSS Cybersecurity, Privacy and Security Committee. Previously, Ryan was the healthcare leader for Fortinet and Juniper Networks where he also was the Chair for their respective Healthcare Customer Advisory Boards. Ryan was a contributor to the 2013 WEDI Report, a former Co-Chair of WEDI's Privacy & Security Workgroup and has been elected to the WEDI Board of Directors. Ryan was also elected to the Association for Executives in Health Information Security (AEHIS) Advisory Board. A graduate of San Jose State University, Ryan has spent much of his professional life in Europe, but he and his family now live in Silicon Valley.

Stephanie Torto

Senior Product Marketing Manager, Proofpoint

Stephanie is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Proofpoint, where she is responsible for the messaging and positioning of Insider Risk Management. Before joining Proofpoint, Stephanie held a variety of roles spanning product marketing, customer research, and market strategy at IBM. Prior to IBM, Stephanie spent several years as an industry analyst at IDC, providing insights and advice on market trends and industry dynamics to executives at leading technology and IT services firms. Stephanie holds a BA degree from Union College and an MBA from Babson College.

Dan Lohrmann — Moderator

Daniel J. Lohrmann is an internationally recognized cybersecurity leader, technologist, keynote speaker and author. He led Michigan government’s cybersecurity and technology infrastructure teams from May 2002 to August 2014, including as enterprise-wide chief security officer (CSO), chief technology officer (CTO) and chief information security officer (CISO). During his distinguished career, he has served both the public and private sectors in a variety of executive leadership capacities including advising senior leaders at the White House, National Governors Association (NGA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Throughout his career he has received numerous national awards including CSO of the Year, Public Official of the Year and Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader.
