The pressures on teachers seem to never end. Giving every student a device to support their learning should ease the pressure on teachers, not add to their stress.

Fortunately, a new generation of cloud-based classroom management tools helps teachers manage classroom technology more effectively. These tools lighten the load on educators while helping them make the most of every minute their students spend on classroom computers. They can also help administrators further their pedagogical goals while addressing the stressors that complicate education and discourage teachers from staying in the profession.

Join the Center for Digital Education on February 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern for a live, interactive discussion with education leaders on the challenges today’s teachers face and the solutions available to address them. During this discussion, we will cover:

  • Key findings from a recent survey of education leaders, IT staff and teachers on the topic of classroom management
  • The advantages of modern classroom management software
  • Common software implementation challenges and best practices

Erica Hartman joined GoGuardian as the Subject Matter Expert for CTO personas on the Rev Ops & Strategy Team. Erica brings over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience as a Chief Technology Officer in public education, helping school districts choose digital platforms that best suit their strategic goals and stakeholders. She specializes in large-scale deployments and implementation, the digital architecture of online platforms, data interoperability, digital citizenship, and student safety - always with end-user experience and providing actionable data top of her mind. My why: Equity and access. I am always looking at EdTech from a teacher and student lens; my passion is automating tasks to make the end user’s life easier. Whether that is creating a data dashboard for teachers, implementing a single sign-on for students, or building a community wifi program for families-removing, roadblocks to accessible and equitable education are my expertise.
