Mark currently heads Deloitte’s Government and Public Services Strategy & Analytics Assets group, leading the development of advanced analytic and data assets and businesses. He is advancing capabilities and adoption for advanced analytics, AI, Service Design, and Blockchain distributed consensus ledger solutions. He has served clients in Federal, State, Financial Services, Real Estate, High Tech, Telecommunications, and other industries. His professional focus areas are technology trends and innovation, and architecting, developing, and delivering critical mission solutions for our clients. Mr. White has served in multiple leadership roles, including CTO for US Consulting, Global Consulting, US Federal, and Consulting Innovation. He led the US Platform Architecture & Infrastructure service line and was lead IT Principal on the Department of Homeland Security and Citigroup accounts, Delivery Principal for major Federal programs, and Engagement Principal for Global 100 Financial Services firms. His engagement focus areas include emerging technologies, innovation, AI and advanced analytics, CIO strategy, services architectures, IT service management, operations engineering, and data center design and consolidation. Mark is a frequent speaker at US and global conferences and is regularly quoted in the media discussing the impact of technology on business and government. Mr. White earned a BS in Computer Science with a concentration in Systems Architecture, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia. He also earned a Masters of Applied Mathematical Sciences with a concentration in Operations Research from the University of Georgia.

Americo leads the AI/ML Go To Market (GTM) and Specialty team for WW Public sector, guiding customers through their decisions to adopt and use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Americo joined AWS in 2013 and has 26 years of experience helping enterprise and large public sector organizations with their Information System strategy, digital transformation and, modernization. Prior to AWS Americo held Director positions with Edge Delivery and network security firms such as Akamai and CDNetworks/KDDI and before that was the head of the Architecture consulting at European System Integrator ATOS. Americo holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Paris Sorbonne (Pierre & Marie Curie). His passion for Artificial Intelligence goes back to his Master of Science (1993), where he graduated with a major in Artificial Intelligence from the EPITA (Ecole Pour l’Informatique et les Techniques Avancées) and a post Master in Biomedical Information Science from the University of Paris, Rene Descartes.

William (Bill) Rials, Ph.D., is a professor and associate director (department chair) of the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement IT and Cybersecurity Program, where he focuses on continually delivering and updating the program curriculum based on innovative and emerging technologies. Before transitioning to academia and higher education, he had a diverse gov tech career delivering value to state agencies, local governments, and law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Mississippi. He has served in CIO, CTO, and CISO roles for local governments and also in various leadership positions within the state of Mississippi’s IT organization as a deputy to the state CIO. Dr. Rials holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Belhaven University, a master’s degree in computer information systems and cybersecurity from Missouri State University, as well as a Ph.D. in higher education administration and public administration from Jackson State University. His dissertation research involved the critical factors that affect the adoption of cloud services within the public sector. He is a noted expert in the IT and cybersecurity space and is frequently quoted by national media outlets. He is also a frequent contributor to national IT government organizations such as NASTD and NASCIO.
