An experienced technology executive with over 20 years’ experience. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Data Classification for HyTrust, a leader in workload security. David was the co-founder and CTO of DataGravity the pioneer in data aware storage with proactive analytics leading to acquisition by HyTrust. Prior to DataGravity, he was the Global Director of Sales Engineering at Veeam Software and former CTO for Kane County, IL. An industry recognized technical visionary; he has presented at numerous conferences including VMworld, RSA Conference, and Black Hat. He resides in Tampa, FL and co-leads the Tampa VMware Users Group.

Morgan is an internationally recognized expert on cybersecurity strategy, cyberterrorism, identity theft and privacy. Morgan's landmark testimony before Congress on Healthcare.gov changed how the government collected personally identifiable information. He is currently a contributor to TheHill.com on matters of cybersecurity, national security and intelligence in addition to his national news appearances. Previously, Morgan was a senior advisor in the U.S. State Department Antiterrorism Assistance Program and senior law enforcement advisor for the 2012 Republican National Convention. In addition to 18 years in state and local law enforcement as a highly decorated state trooper and detective, Morgan has developed solutions in defense, justice and intelligence for the largest technology companies in the world including Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent/Bell Labs, Unisys and SAIC
