Overview

April 14

Watch Now

COVID-19 resulted in massive changes in the services required by citizens — from unemployment insurance and rental assistance to vaccine deployment and tracking — as well as changes in the way those services are delivered. The pivot to online services was swift, causing massive levels of requests and, unfortunately, ample opportunities for identity theft and benefit fraud.

Join experts from Government Technology, Okta and LexisNexis on April 14 at 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET as we explore how one state quickly pivoted to a multi-layered identity verification and authentication strategy to stop almost 5 million automated, fraudulent log-in attempts in less than three weeks.

We’ll also discuss:

  • How to prevent, detect and investigate fraud while providing a frictionless consumer experience
  • How future-proofing authentication processes with risk-based decisioning can allow customer support teams to spend more time helping citizens who are genuinely in need
  • How to deliver secure authentication despite an increased risk of identity fraud from stolen PII and data breaches
