Maryland’s recently completed high-speed broadband network initiative brings Gigabit speeds to every county in the state, connecting more than 1,000 schools, libraries, fire and police stations, community colleges and other community anchor institutions. The state’s new adaptive and intelligent network drives improvements in the economy, learning, health care and public safety, and brings more equity and access to underserved communities.
