When talking about innovation, there is often a focus on high-level outcomes, like enhancing enterprise cybersecurity or driving public safety across cities and states. While these are essential, looking at innovation from the ground level offers tangible benefits and is a practical starting point to achieve these broader goals. Imagine being able to show residents in real time when their streets will be plowed after a snowstorm or exactly when their trash will be picked up. These may seem like small things, but they can make a huge difference in building trust and satisfaction with your government services. By focusing on these practical applications of innovation, you can create a stronger, more connected community.
