Josh Whitworth

VP & General Manager, Public Sector, Infor

Joshua Whitworth leads Infor’s Public Sector, driving cloud modernization and digital transformation for governments across local, state, and federal markets. Before joining the private sector, Joshua spent over a decade in state government, most notably as Chief Deputy in the State Controller’s Office of Idaho, where he championed the nation’s first end-to-end statewide cloud modernization, replacing legacy systems across 85 agencies. He also helped create Transparent.Idaho.gov and the state’s pandemic funding distribution portals, initiatives born from a belief that government technology should empower citizens, not just serve bureaucracy. He most recently served as Executive Director of the Idaho State Board of Education and currently serves as a Trustee for the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho. Joshua pairs that deep public service commitment with a genuine entrepreneurial drive. He co-founded an agricultural technology startup and owns a working cattle ranch in Idaho; experiences that shaped how he approaches government modernization today: identify the real problem, move with urgency, build something that lasts, and never lose sight of the people it serves. At Infor, he channels that mindset into helping government leaders cut through complexity and adopt purpose-built cloud solutions so they can focus on what matters most; helping their communities thrive. Joshua holds an MBA from Boise State University and a BBA from Idaho State University.
