Howard Miller

CIO, Anderson School of Management UCLA

Howard Miller is the CIO for UCLA Anderson, a top Business School dedicated to advancing management thinking and preparing transformative leaders to make a positive impact on business and society. Previously, Howard was acting CIO and CISO at Columbia Business School. Prior to his academic experience, Howard spent most of his career in pharmaceuticals and life sciences in various IT leadership positions. Howard serves on multiple local IT chapters and customer advisory boards. He is currently the Vice Chair of Southern California SIM (SCSIM), Vice Chair of the membership committee at Innovate@UCLA and serves as Associate Faculty for Educause.

Jennie Wong serves as Slalom’s Global Industry Director for Education, supporting Higher Education clients around the world. She is an award-winning researcher with a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from the University of Southern California and provides thought leadership to her public and private university clients on topics such as data and AI strategy for higher education and achieving mission and business value from technology investments.

Ronald M. Bergmann most recently served as Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Lehman College/CUNY. At Lehman, Ron and his team pioneered the use of analytics, automated major business processes, enhanced classroom technology, and opened the first virtual reality lab in the region. Lehman was cited as an exemplar in the 2018 Horizon Report for its innovative Lehman 360 digital platform. Ron is a fellow of the EDUCAUSE/CLIR Frye (now Leading Change) Institute and was named in 2017 as one of the nation’s top technologists, transformers, and trailblazers by the Center for Digital Education. Ron previously served as first deputy commissioner of New York City's information technology agency where he was selected by Government Technology Magazine as one of the nation's leading individuals redefining and advancing technology's role in government.
