Melissa Gwaldis joined SHI International Corp because of its ability to embrace and adapt to change in today’s dynamic business environment. As a Principal Architect on the Cloud and Innovative Solutions (CIS) team, she is responsible for capturing the Voice of the Customer (VoC), translating it into business requirements, and developing vendor-agnostic solutions that meet the unique needs of each SHI customer. Her consultative selling techniques and ability to serve as a trusted advisor result in cost-effective, scalable solutions that exceed client expectations. With nearly two decades of IT experience in data center and cloud solutions, Melissa has established a record of success servicing organizations across many verticals in the New York metropolitan area. She is a strategist and continues to foster partnerships with major manufacturers and enterprise clients. Melissa’s experience and skills have made it possible for her to secure numerous IT certifications from industry-leading technology vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, and Amazon Web Services (AWS); she was recently appointed as an ambassador for AWS.

As the former Minneapolis CIO, Mr. Doll was responsible for all City IT services. Previously South Dakota's CIO for 15 years with responsibility for all state government computing, telecommunications, state radio, and public broadcasting. While with IT research firms, Mr. Doll has advised Fortune 1000, Federal, State, and Local Government CIOs on information technology assessment and alignment to business needs. He has served as a Director with the United States General Services Administration, developing information technology strategic plans and oversight policy. Mr. Doll received his Computer Science degree from Virginia Tech and is a Senior Executive Fellow of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is a past President of NASCIO — a national organization of state CIOs. He also is a past President of the Metropolitan Information Exchange (MIX) — a national organization of city and county CIOs. Mr. Doll was named to Government Technology's Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers.

Karen Jackson is the president of Apogee Strategic Partners, a Virginia consultancy helping companies and organizations address their most daunting challenges in cyber security, autonomous systems and smart communities and cities. Ms. Jackson formerly served as the Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth. She also served as the Commonwealth’s Deputy Secretary of Technology and Vice President of Broadband Programs for the Center for Innovative Technology. Ms. Jackson served as a senior advisor to Governor McAuliffe on technology matters including innovation, data analytics, telecommunications, cybersecurity, unmanned systems and smart communities. She was also responsible for overseeing the Commonwealth’s IT infrastructure. Ms. Jackson served on a number of Boards including the Center for Innovative Technology, the Virginia Research Investment Committee, and the Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership (MAAP). She also served as Governor McAuliffe's representative to the FCC's Intergovernmental Advisory Committee and co-chaired the Commonwealth’s Cyber Security Commission. She holds a bachelor’s of science in business management from Christopher Newport University and a master's of business administration from The College of William and Mary.
