Marcus Moffett

CTO for U.S. Public Sector, Cisco

Marcus leads System Engineering for US Public Sector. He and his team of Systems Engineering Leaders, Systems Engineers and Architects are responsible for the discovery of business/mission requirements and the design of a secure, intelligent platform to support the digital business journey of our Public Sector customers, both directly and through partners. As a 20+ year Cisco veteran, Marc has extensive experience in the Public Sector, Enterprise, and Commercial Territory/Select business sectors and has held roles with increasing responsibility starting as a Systems Engineer, SE Manager, Senior SE Manager and now Director. He also achieved his Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert Certification (CCIE #10079) in 2002.

Mike Witzman

Systems Engineering Director for U.S. SLED, Cisco

Mike Witzman is an experienced sales executive focused on state and local governments, colleges and universities, and K-12 schools in 26 states. He has over 20 years of experience advising IT executives on technology transitions, evolving team capabilities to meet ever-changing demands, and leading cross-functional teams to grow Cisco’s business. Mike is passionate about the power of the network, security, data/analytics, agile IT, and emerging technologies. Mike leads a direct team of more than 100 managers, pre-sales engineers and architects as well as the engagement strategy for nearly as many technology and vertical specialists. His team’s primary focus is helping the dedicated teachers, professors, police, firemen, and other public service officials in our cities and states to accomplish their mission: protect, serve and educate their communities.

Otto Doll — Moderator

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government

As the Minneapolis CIO for seven-plus years, Mr. Doll was responsible for all City IT services. Formerly South Dakota's CIO for 15 years with responsibility for all state government computing, telecommunications, state radio, and public broadcasting. While with IT research firms, Mr. Doll has advised Fortune 1000, Federal, State, and Local Government CIOs on information technology assessment and alignment to business needs. He has served as a Director with the United States General Services Administration, developing information technology strategic plans and oversight policy. Mr. Doll received his Computer Science degree from Virginia Tech and is a Senior Executive Fellow of the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is a past President of NASCIO — a national organization of state CIOs. He also is a past President of the Metropolitan Information Exchange (MIX) — a national organization of city and county CIOs. Mr. Doll was named to Government Technology's Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers.
