Overview

December 9

Watch Now

Many state agencies still follow policymaking procedures that have been in place for decades, using legacy and on-prem infrastructure, printing out and circulating hard copies of policy and relying on manual processes. With new tools designed specifically for governments, agencies can innovate policy management and make it simpler for communities and stakeholders to interact with government.

When the Georgia OCI recognized they needed a smarter way to research and analyze policy data to identify outdated regulations, the agency turned to a cloud-based solution that enabled the department to be more efficient and responsive. With cloud-based policy management tools, state agencies have one centralized location for policy research, drafting, review and publishing. Agencies can also leverage these tools to track the entire lifecycle of a policy project and maintain key institutional knowledge.

Join Government Technology on December 9 for a live, interactive discussion with Gregg Conley, executive counsel for Georgia OCI and Chuck Grindle, the former Chief Information Officer of Kentucky, on how governments can streamline policymaking activities by moving their processes to the cloud.

During this 30-minute webinar, you will learn:

  • What the Georgia OCI has done to create efficiencies in their policy management process
  • How state governments can leverage cloud technology to ensure team alignment through transparent and collaborative workflows
  • How agencies can track key due dates and milestones on all of their policy projects
