Jeff began his career in 1993 as a Roadway and Structural Inspector for TW Consultants. In 1994, he continued work as an inspector for Urban Engineers. Later in 1994, he started working for the PTC as an Engineering Analyst to review construction plans for constructability. Over the past 30+ years, Jeff has worked in various capacities within the PTC’s Engineering- Construction unit. Currently, as a Senior Engineering Project Manager, Jeff manages the PTC’s Electronic Bidding System (EBS), Construction Documentation System (CDS), and Project Collaboration System (Kahua). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1992 from Penn State University and he holds his Engineer in Training Certificate.

AJ Waters is the Chief Evangelist at Kahua and an active speaker in the construction technology industry. Leveraging his experience as Vice President of Industry Solutions at InEight and as a program manager at Google, he works to champion the successful change management required to implement innovative solutions. With a background as a structural engineer at Kiewit, AJ combines technical expertise with a passion for advancing customer flexibility and agility.

Cari Stieglitz brings global experience with program management start up and governance for large and small programs through actionable plans. With an emphasis on business process consulting for project management offices, Cari has successfully balanced people, processes and tools for organizations since 2003. The Kvolve founder has grown her project and portfolio management skills through engaging facilitation of project subject areas and how they impact technology, staff culture and adoption. By applying techniques that create value, Cari has helped private and public organizations organize project, program and portfolio management processes to support the lifecycle view of capital, small and operational projects. She has adapted PMI, ISO 21500 and other standards to meet the needs of organizations.

Randell "Randy" Iwasaki PE, brings more than 40 years of experience in the transportation sector. He has served in leadership roles for both public and private sector organizations and serves on several boards in an advisory capacity or as a board member. He is an internationally recognized leader in transportation research and innovation. Currently, Randy is the president and chief executive officer of Iwasaki Consulting Services, Inc., a role in which he provides transportation advisory services for companies, individuals, and public sector clients. He also serves as a senior fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, Randy was the vertical leader of State and Local Transportation for Amazon Web Services. In that position Randy led data support and analysis services, providing artificial intelligence support, services in new technology development, data analysis methods for policy and planning analysis. Before entering the private sector, Randy had a long and distinguished career with public agencies, including a decade as the executive director of the Contra Costa Transportation Agency, which is recognized as one of the most innovative transportation agencies in the United States. While there, he founded GoMentum Station, the largest secure automated vehicle test facility in the nation. Prior to that he was a 27-year employee of the California Department of Transportation, where he rose through the ranks to become chief deputy director from 2004 to 2009 and the director from 2009 to 2010. Randy earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and went on to earn a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno, with a focus on environmental engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in California.

Pete’s local government work began in Columbus OH, where he was the city’s first CIO and established a local CIO networking group. As CIO for the City of Fort Worth he supervised the implementation of an ERP system which replaced over 50 separate systems. Pete’s local government career also included over ten years in Public Transit CIO positions for the Columbus and Cleveland transit agencies. His most extensive volunteer commitment was serving on a large food bank board for seven years (including as President). Pete’s education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Navy Supply Corps School, Major Program Management at Fort Belvoir’s Defense System Management College and Senior Executive Leadership at Kellogg School enhanced his four decades of public sector IT work. He began his federal IT work advocating for and overseeing the funding of, numerous major projects in the Navy. Pete’s later tours included installing computer systems in the fleet and culminated as commander of a Defense Logistics Agency software development organization of 1600 employees in 13 sites. Pete has worked to make a difference in government service by taking challenging positions and leaving them award winning organizations. Pete was named a Public Technology Institute Fellow in 2012, one of 2013’s Doers, Dreamers and Drivers by Government Technology and one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 Technology Leaders of 2017.
