Overview

December 6

Watch Now

Student success is a top priority for higher education leaders. They know they need timely, accurate, and relevant data to support students’ changing needs, develop a sense of community and belonging on campus, and drive positive student outcomes, including timely graduation and employability.

But too often that crucial information is locked in siloed technology systems that are owned by different campus departments. Student information systems (SISs), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and admissions and enrollment systems are just a few of the myriad campus solutions that house critical data. Unfortunately, most of the time these systems do not integrate or communicate.

Join the Center for Digital Education on December 6 at 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern to hear from higher education leaders on how you can build a data strategy for the future to unlock access to this data and drive student success.

We’ll cover:

  • Establishing the vision: The transformative power of data and what your strategy should look like
  • Who needs to be at the table to make your vision a reality
  • The critical role of champions to push forward a more integrated technology and data ecosystem
  • Creating a culture of data sharing and building a data governance strategy
  • The importance of data literacy across stakeholders
  • How emerging technologies like data lakes can help achieve the integration desired
