Kenny Holmes joined Cisco to help customers realize the next chapter of cybersecurity. Cisco is the one organization with enough people and resources to effectively help Government and Education customers to improve their future with a complete and ever evolving AI-based integrated platform. Previously Kenny lead Fortinet’s State, Local, and Education business. In four years, this business grew 350% while adding over two hundred sales teams and key resources. Prior to Fortinet he was the first person to cover these markets at Palo Alto Networks as a manager and director growing that business to $300 million. He’s fortunate to have now built the Government and Education business at two of the top global cybersecurity companies. Kenny has held more than twenty technology certifications and positions spanning from Engineering to Sales leadership. He’s an advocate and speaker having dedicated more than twenty-five years to the Public Sector. Kenny is an expert in cybersecurity with a background in cryptography having worked in the Federal Government, State Government, Research Institutions, and Universities on the largest security projects in the world. He holds a Masters degree in (CET) Computer Engineering Technology from Ole Miss and Executive Education Certificates in Strategy and in AI from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. He resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and daughter and in his spare time enjoys being a pilot, and a public speaker and influencer for the rights of girls and women with autism.

Deborah is an accomplished C-level influencer, with a broad range of experience in government, policy, cybersecurity, privacy and information technology. An experienced and highly respected thought leader who has held executive roles for over two decades. She recently retired from her position as New York state’s chief information security officer (CISO) after over 35 years of public service. In that role, as part of New York state’s information technology transformation and consolidation initiative, she helped redesign how the state protects its data. As state CISO, she directed the state’s comprehensive cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance program, providing strategic leadership and vision, and assuring business-aligned, risk-based investments that maximized business opportunity and minimized cybersecurity risk. She also directed the NYS Cyber Command Center, hotline, procedures for reporting and response to cyberthreats, and digital forensics. She holds multiple industry certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC); SANS Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) Global Information Assurance Certification; and Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
