Rob Lalumondier

Vice President, Enterprise & Public Sector, Sophos

Rob Lalumondier is the Vice President of U.S. Public Sector at Sophos, bringing extensive leadership experience across defense, intelligence, and civilian government markets. Prior to joining Sophos, he led McAfee’s federal civilian and intelligence business unit as Executive Director, and served as Director of Defense and Intelligence at Intel Corporation. A former U.S. Army Captain, Lalumondier served with distinction during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, providing mission-critical leadership in complex operational environments. His public sector expertise is grounded in both his military service and his deep understanding of customer needs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, where he was a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow.

 

Alexandra Rose

Director, Government Partnerships & Counter Threat Unit (CTU) Threat Research, Sophos

Alexandra Rose is the Director of Governmental Partnerships and Director of Threat Research at Sophos. In her role as the Director of Governmental Partnerships, she spearheads initiatives to strengthen public and private relationships. Simultaneously, as the Director of Threat Research, Alex focuses on enabling both internal stakeholders and external customers, including decision-makers, to comprehend the evolving threat landscape. Her strategic insights are instrumental in empowering organizations to make informed decisions and effectively manage risks. With a career dedicated to bridging the gap between the technical insights and practical applications, in addition to private sector and government entities, Alex has established herself as a leader in the field. Prior to her current roles, Alex demonstrated her expertise by building and leading a U.S. government inter-agency team of over 50 data scientists, technologists, and domain experts. This team delivered advanced capabilities for countering foreign adversarial influence. Her extensive experience includes various roles within the National Security Agency, where she served as Chief Operations Officer, Technical Leader, Analyst, and Linguist during her tenure in the U.S. Air Force and as a Federal Civilian.

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government

Deborah is an accomplished C-level influencer, with a broad range of experience in government, policy, cybersecurity, privacy and information technology. An experienced and highly respected thought leader who has held executive roles for over two decades. She recently retired from her position as New York state’s chief information security officer (CISO) after over 35 years of public service. In that role, as part of New York state’s information technology transformation and consolidation initiative, she helped redesign how the state protects its data. As state CISO, she directed the state’s comprehensive cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance program, providing strategic leadership and vision, and assuring business-aligned, risk-based investments that maximized business opportunity and minimized cybersecurity risk. She also directed the NYS Cyber Command Center, hotline, procedures for reporting and response to cyberthreats, and digital forensics. She holds multiple industry certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC); SANS Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) Global Information Assurance Certification; and Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
