AI is rapidly reshaping what's possible in government. But as agencies move beyond experimentation and explore agentic AI, a critical question emerges: How can public sector leaders deploy this technology while maintaining accountability, controlling costs, and delivering measurable results?

The opportunity is significant, but so are the considerations. From governance and compliance to unpredictable AI consumption costs, agencies must think strategically about how emerging technologies fit within their modernization efforts and long-term priorities.

Join Josh Whitworth, vice president and general manager for Infor Public Sector, and Cathilea Robinett, CEO of e.Republic, for a conversation about what it really takes to move AI from promise to practical value in the public sector.

Together, they'll explore how organizations can embrace innovation responsibly, build the right guardrails, and make modernization decisions that support both immediate needs and future adaptability.

Josh and Cathilea will dive into:

  • How to identify what meaningful value looks like for public sector AI investments
  • The importance of oversight, risk management and compliance as AI systems become more autonomous
  • How consumption-based pricing and unexpected expenses can affect public sector budgeting
  • Key considerations for integrating AI into existing systems while maintaining flexibility and control
  • How agencies can adopt a "headless ERP" approach

Register now to join the conversation and gain practical perspectives on navigating the next phase of AI-driven government modernization.

Josh Whitworth

Vice President and General Manager, Public Sector, Infor

Joshua Whitworth leads Infor’s Public Sector, driving cloud modernization and digital transformation for governments across local, state, and federal markets. Before joining the private sector, Joshua spent over a decade in state government, most notably as Chief Deputy in the State Controller’s Office of Idaho, where he championed the nation’s first end-to-end statewide cloud modernization, replacing legacy systems across 85 agencies. He also helped create Transparent.Idaho.gov and the state’s pandemic funding distribution portals, initiatives born from a belief that government technology should empower citizens, not just serve bureaucracy. He most recently served as Executive Director of the Idaho State Board of Education and currently serves as a Trustee for the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho.

Joshua pairs that deep public service commitment with a genuine entrepreneurial drive. He co-founded an agricultural technology startup and owns a working cattle ranch in Idaho; experiences that shaped how he approaches government modernization today: identify the real problem, move with urgency, build something that lasts, and never lose sight of the people it serves.

At Infor, he channels that mindset into helping government leaders cut through complexity and adopt purpose-built cloud solutions so they can focus on what matters most; helping their communities thrive. Joshua holds an MBA from Boise State University and a BBA from Idaho State University.
