Brenda Decker — Moderator

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Government

Brenda Decker most recently spent five years with IBM as a Director for Global Government Industry services. Prior to IBM, Brenda served in Nebraska state government for 37 years, 10+ years as the state's chief information officer with responsibility for state government computing, telecommunications, public safety radio, and video conferencing. Her expertise leading, transforming and managing large IT organizations has created high-performing teams and partnered cross functional public and private organizations. Her work has garnered both local and national recognition for her contributions to government technology.

 

Dwight Henning

Senior Director, Meraki Americas

Dwight leads the Cisco Meraki teams across the US Public Sector, LATAM, and Canada Markets. A 20-year veteran of Cisco, Dwight has held numerous sales leadership and strategy roles. In his prior role he led the Northeast Public Sector sales teams with responsibility for approximatley $700M of annual revenue. In prior roles he has led the US Public Sector strategy and operations teams developing overall segment strategies and working closely with the direct and supporting sales teams to implement those strategies across the $5B Cisco Public Sector Business. Dwight had had many leadership roles for Cisco, leading various sales and architecture teams in commercial, enterprise and public sector segments. Preceding his tenure with Cisco, Dwight spent 10 years with Verizon (formerly MCI Worldcom) leading both Northeast and Midwest based sales organizations.

 

Carlos Garcia

Director of Sales, Managed Market Network Services, Lumen

Carlos Garcia is the Director of Sales for Lumen’s Managed Network Services across SLED and North America Enterprise. His team supports the full Cisco Meraki stack developing solutions to enhance our customers experiences.
