Sean McSpaden is an executive level information technology professional with over 30 years of experience in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. His background includes the start-up and management of several small businesses and he has served on the Board of Directors or in Executive Director positions for several 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Sean’s public service experience includes progressively responsible positions as an IT analyst, and in statewide coordination, management and leadership positions within the Executive and Legislative branches of Oregon state government. From June 2008 to September 2013, served as the state of Oregon’s Deputy State Chief Information Officer.

Jeff is a thought leader in the cross section of identity verification and fraud prevention with a strong focus on building solutions that align with industry needs while pushing the technical envelope of what is possible. At Socure, Jeff leads the public sector Solution Consulting team where he is responsible for tailoring the best-in-class identity verification and fraud prevention engine to meet the needs of the Government. Jeff led the implementations for the Small Business Administration, Florida, Ohio, Texas, and New York. As the Executive Director at Max.gov, Jeff drove the migration of an identity and shared services platform that spans 28 agencies within the US Government. He previously led Product for the first identity platform for the seven largest banks in the US at Early Warning which will launch in early 2022. In this role he co-authored 9 patents related to identity and payments. Jeff has experience both in the private and public sectors driving product teams to actionable outcomes and enjoys bringing together designers, developers, and engineers to create delightful consumer experiences. He also served for 6 years as an Air Force Cyber Warfare Officer leading diverse teams on missions to protect our Nations cyber defense. Jeff is a graduate of the Product Management program at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
