Principal Engineer, Global Director, and Head of Digital Readiness Programs at Intel Corporation

Anshul is the Principal Engineer, Global Director, and Head of Digital Readiness Programs at Intel Corporation, based at Santa Clara HQ, California, USA. He oversees the Intel® Digital Readiness Program for AI tech skilling, workforce development, the future of work, and policy initiatives aimed at bringing AI skills everywhere. Since 2017, he has been championing AI education and workforce development models for citizens, students, current and future workforce, and leaders through public-private partnerships with government and academia. He leads Intel’s digital inclusion work to make technology more inclusive and expand digital readiness. He is a recognized global business and thought leader in the education technology and workforce-skills industry ecosystem. He represents Intel in WEF Education Alliance 4.0, JFF Corporate Innovation Council, GSV Workforce Insights Board, and the World Bank’s Solution for Youth Employment. In May 2023, he was recognized as “The top 10 most inspiring education leaders 2023” by The Education Insights Magazine, featuring on the cover page. His work is covered in a Harvard Business case study for transforming AI education through Intel AI for Youth. He has written on platforms like Forbes and UNDP, and he speaks regularly to media (e.g., Houston Business Journal) and in multilateral forums like World Bank, the Commonwealth. He is a technology policy advisor for multiple governments, civil society, and academic bodies. His recent policy-shaping work includes JFF’s AI-Ready Workforce report and The AI-Enabled ICT Workforce Consortium report.

Director, Strategic Engagements and Southeast US SLED Global Government Scale, Intel Corporation

Hugues Morin manages Intel’s Strategic initiatives and the Southeast SLED (State & Local Gov. + Education) region in the newly formed Government Scale group at Intel. A 24-year veteran at Intel, Hugues and his team are focused on helping organizations modernize and increase their efficiency with the adoption of technologies and best practices, accelerating secure Digital Transformation for government agencies in partnership with Intel’s global sales force and ecosystem. Prior this role, Hugues held various sales, marketing and General Management roles while experiencing cultural diversity living in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Prior to joining Intel, Hugues held senior account executive roles for two major Canadian IT system integrators focused on the development of next generation IT deployments. Morin is native from the Quebec City region where he studied sciences at Levis-Lauzon College and Biology at Laval University. He is native in French, fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. Outside of work, he particularly enjoys outdoor adventures with his beloved identical twin girls.

Dr. Hernan Londono currently serves as Lenovo’s Chief Technology and Innovation Strategist. He is a distinguished leader in technology and education, known for his expertise in innovative academic solutions, cybersecurity, and strategic technology advancement. With over two decades of experience as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in higher education, he has a proven track record of driving impactful change. Dr. Londono joined the Lenovo team after serving as Chief Technology and Innovation Strategist at Dell Technologies for 3 and a half years, where he led transformative educational initiatives. He has also been a trusted advisor for several prominent cybersecurity organizations, including Vectra, Cyphort, and SANS Securing the Human. His dedication to advancing technology and education is evident through his active involvement on various advisory boards, such as the FBI-InfraGard South Florida, the Alan B. Levan Innovation Center, Florida International University’s ATOM Think Tank, Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Most recently, Dr. Londono was appointed to the Business Industry Leadership Team of the National Applied AI Consortium (NAAIC).

Jim Jorstad — Moderator

Senior Fellow, Center for Digital Education

Jim Jorstad is Senior Fellow for the Center for Digital Education and the Center for Digital Government. He is a retired emeritus interim CIO and Cyber Security Designee for the Chancellor’s Office at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He served in leadership roles as director of IT client services, academic technologies and media services, providing services to over 1,500 staff and 10,000 students. Jim has experience in IT operations, teaching and learning, and social media strategy. His work has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, Forbes and NPR, and he is a recipient of the 2013 CNN iReport Spirit Award. Jim is an EDUCAUSE Leading Change Fellow and was chosen as one of the Top 30 Media Producers in the U.S.
